Aikido is a vigorous activity but can be practised by the young, old, male & female.
Though the reasons for training may vary depending on the individual, regular practitioners can obtain physical fitness, knowledge of self-defence, relaxation and even sporting achievement through regular training.
You do not have to be super-fit to train!
You will be introduced to all aspects gradually and encouraged to go at your own pace. You'll then find yourself getting fitter as you progress.
At Central London Shodokan we encourage a relaxed, friendly but serious atmosphere towards training.
To help us do so, it is necessary to follow some guidelines that will ensure courtsey and respect for others at all times.
